Here's a scenario that I was trying to find an answer to from a play of the game today:

Player goes to Atlantis and rescues the prisoner. Then moves to Egypt and gets cursed.

The question is, does the curse prevent the player from dropping the prisoner off safely at the Century Club, or can they do so even when cursed?

Yes it does prevent the prisoner from being rescued. It specifically says that a cursed Centurion cannot complete a mission. Rescuing the prisoner is completing the mission - they need to uncurse first, then free the prisoner.

Hello,

From the description I'm not sure how/why the player got cursed.

You only get cursed if you accomplish the mission in Egypt. So, if the player was trying to accomplish the mission in Egypt while rescuing the prisoner from Atlantis, then it's not possible. He'd have to get cured first before he could even dream of returning to the Century Club. Basically, when you rescue the prisoner, you have two more turns to try and reach the middle Century Club location.

However, from your description, it seems that on his way back to the Century Club, the player stopped by in Egypt (and didn't even try to complete the mission). In this case, he's safe from the mummy's curse.

Ok there are some odd responses above!
So to clarify

Actions are at the Top of the location and Missions are at the Bottom of the location.
The Cursed marker stops you from completing Missions, removing the Curse is at the Top of the location and is therefore an action (or else no one could ever win the game).

So yes you are correct you can get the prisoner (a Mission) and then get Cursed in Egypt (a Mission) and then get uncursed (an Action) then move to the prisoner destination and release them as a mission, which you can now do as you have no curse.

These missions and actions will of course be spread over a number of turns
