I have the old GDW version with 3rd edition on it's way via trade.

3rd edition seems to have the best components of all 4 editions, but I wonder what is thought of the rules apparently expanded somewhat in 4th, and their compatibility with 3rd.

I'm also curious about general rule changes in the various editions and how much has been consistently brought forward.

Thanks in advance for any information.

Craig

If I were to hang my head, I'd miss all the rainbows. And I'd drown in raindrops instead.

Have a look at this Web site. You'll probably find a lot of answers there.

I think it's too new. I haven't heard anything yet either. Those who have it aren't saying much, so I figure nothing has really changed (except the box art, which everybody hates, and the look of the mapboard, which isn't winning any praise).
