Rules Lawyer is in many ways inspired by Fluxx, so if you enjoy Fluxx you are likely to enjoy Rules Lawyer, but they are not the same game.

They are both light games focused on modifying rules as a primary means of interacting with other players.

In Fluxx you set aside keepers and try to get the victory condition to match some combination of the keepers you have and change the core mechanics to help you do so.

In Rules Lawyer, you adjust the rules to try to make them match goal cards you have in hand. The victory conditions never change. You have to achieve 3 such goals to win. Similar concepts, but with different execution.

And yes, you are forced to perform a bit :0)
