I have a burning question and no idea where else to ask it.
Welcome to the Crazy Question #1 Answer correctly and get geek gold. British rap from the 80's edition!
When I was a kid in the 80's I would sometimes have the opportunity to visit record shops in London. On one such visit I purchased two tapes, Iron Maiden: Somewhere in Time and the mystery question answer.
Here are some additional clues: this was a rap tape. It was all done with a very British accents. I remember at least one male and one female rapper. The rappers sounded very happy to be rapping, the vocals had that cheesey old school timbre where everything sounded very... uhm.. excited and happy. Here's the kicker: Vamprires. Yup, "Vampire Rap" was definitely a name and main lyric of at least one song (and possibly two (Vampire Rap ____ remix?) Another might have been Frankenstein? But maybe not on that second one. I have to hear that song again. Don't judge. It would bring me joy. What? You can play a version of Waterworks where you're pretending to build a giant magical monster octopus that may or may not be an evil god and I can't want to listen to a rap about Vampires from the '80s?
So get crackin' super slueths. Where can I listen to this song online?I'll bank roll a Mircobadge to the person who answers this question by providing a link... If you can at least be the first person to name the artist and album I'll shoot you a few GG.
Now we're getting somewhere. This is stylistically correct. It may be one of the same artists. It's been decades since I heard the particular mystery album but it was definitely something like that Dizzy Heights cut.
