I work for a hobby gaming distribution company, and we've been making demo videos for a few games, with the idea that our videos could be used to teach a game or learn how to play a game on your own.
I'm pretty happy with how they turned out, but I'm always open to new ideas that might make the next videos we make even better.
What do YOU think makes for a good demo/teaching video? Without slamming the hard work of other people making videos, are there general pitfalls to avoid?
For reference, here are the two videos we've already made:
Suggestions that specifically reference these videos are great, too, but obviously one can have ideas about what makes for a good demo video without having watched either of them.
Thanks for all of your thoughts! I hope that we can make our next videos even better!
