Then you will also like Coup. These two games have been compared and contrasted positively. They seem somewhat similar, but are different enough to warrant having both in a collection. Coup is now being published by Indie Boards & Cards with a Resistance re-theme and is live on Kickstarter http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2012515236/coup-bluff-an... for as cheap as a $15 pledge. Check it out!!

Interesting! At first glance the description sounded a lot like Citadels, but when I read further I realized it's very different. I like the bluffing mechanism of claiming powers you may not really have the cards to back up. Thanks for pointing this out.

…You might also like Lost Legacy, which is an official spin-off of Love Letter (designed together with Hayato Kisaragi).

No, you won't necessarily. You might find that Coup is a nasty hybrid experience of Love Letter and Perudo with none of the charm of either. But if you enjoy experiences that are more of a miserable ride than a game then maybe you will.

I'm not a fan. Seriously though, I would advise playing the game first before buying: I think Love Letter is fantastic and found Coup to be quite horrible.

I find Coup to have interesting decisions and Love Letter to have few.

It really amounts to how you feel about bluffing mechanisms.

I play with someone regularly who doesn't like them because she believes she isn't any good at them and it seems like lying is rewarded. With that said, I don't really see Coup as having much to do with either bluffing or lying.

I am not misrepresenting who I am as much as I am taking an action that I may or may not have the resources to back up. It is therefore a deduction game to me (and in that sense is like Love Letter but with more interesting decisions).

Don't think so, yet. It's released next Saturday.

Such a tease.
Besides if it is released that soon it should be in BGG!

I can't be bothered to enter it yet.

It's released by OneDraw, I think. Maybe Kanai Factory.

It's basically just Love Letter with an added guessing mechanism at the end.

Awesome, thanks for the info. I pre-ordered the game yesterday.

I also entered the game's info on BGG: Lost Legacy

Mostly all from the product's page on One Draw's website and blog. The hi-res cover art was on amazon.co.jp only so far.

In that case, you should probably remove your "all rights reserved" and mention from where you got the images. You've uploaded them as something that you yourself have produced.
