Here is how this thread works. You post a decklist that you have made and that you honestly think is good.

Then other posters will find humorous ways to insult your card choices and explain how bad you are!

Example (full of terrible descions for you to poke holes in)
************
Some Really Bad Jinteki Player's deck (made up):
Orignial damage-y Jinteki:

Agendas: (9)
3 Braintrust
3 Fetal AI
3 Priority Requisition

Upgrade/Assets: (11)
1 Melange Mining Corp
3 Edge of World
3 Snare
2 Amazon Industrial Zone **
2 Pad Campaign

Ice: (20)
3 Woodcutter *********
2 Cell Portal
2 Neural Katana
2 Wall of Thorns
3 Enigma
3 Wall of Static
1 Hunter
3 Chum
1 Ice Wall *

Operation: (9)
2 Hedge Fund
3 Commercialization ***
2 Trick of Light
2 Precognition

Go!

(Except in the future, post your decks that you think are good)

Sample Insults:

* Wow, that Priority requisition on Woodcutter is so strong, now you can advance it. Totally worth cutting Nisei Mk II for.

* That cell portal is so bad. Youre gonna loop them through your 0 subroutine woodcutter over and over?

WHAT! How stupid are you? I can't imagine what kind of things your parents must have done to you for you to think that this was a good idea. It's like saying:

"HEY! Just stand right there. I've got this big old bat and I'm going to hit you upside the head with it. Just stand right there and it should work. STOP MOVING! STOP MOVING! That isn't fair..."

Trying to hope somebody is stupid enough to run into a highly advanced Woodcutter is a TERRIBLE idea. With no Corporate Troubleshooter you can't even force it to work. You will never do damage with it. Never ever.

As for your agendas, you are trying to do damage by scoring them, but they are so few of them and hard to score that it will never happen. And if they do happen to run into them, then you are doing a measly 1 damage (or three if it's a Fetal AI). AND NO ADVANCE-ABLE TRAPS! So if you don't advance them, then it could be a Snare or Edge of World, but anybody with any brains could run any advanced card prepared for damage and...steal an agenda.

Your ice is already very cheap, but all of your ice (except Woodcutter) works best as a surprise. You are spending all of this influence and deck space to make Amazon rez Woodcutter, but that is the only place you want to use Amazon. Sure your Priority Req could rez woodcutter, but this is a terrible use of resources.

UGG!

(Is that what you were hoping for?)

Its like all the others, but instead of my feeling bad about insulting some noob's deck, its part of the game and they volunteered.

Alex, you may be one of the BGG Netrunner authorities, but I feel like you do enough decklist-insulting as is. Do you really need us to volunteer up more material?

Sure, I'll bite.

"So lets see. You have 3 Priority Requisitions, and the only targets for them are 2 Wall of Thorns? I'm sure that'll work great."

"Whats the singleton Hunter doing in with the rest of that ice? Presumably it's going to combo with the cell port- hehe alright I'll stop. You might also want to have more than 6 pieces of ice that can end the run, but that's just a suggestion."

"On the topic of ice, I think you could do a lot better than spending all of your influence on Woodcutters and Amazon Industrial Zone. Why not spend some influence for more economy? 1 melange is very easy to destroy, and the rest of your economy cards will be very easy to destroy if a runner is determined enough. Not only that, Ice Wall is the only commercialization target you have until your subroutine-gaining ice become rezzed."

-----------------------------------------

I propose an experimental Weyland deck that tries to leverage the advancing capabilities of ice and Amazon Industrial Zone to create a viable fast advance strategy. Couple this with big economy from your Transactions and Government Contracts (just in case the runner isn't kind to our credit pool) and I think you have a solid Weyland Big-Agenda deck.

Identity:
Weyland Consortium: Building A Better World (Core)

Why only 2 Opuses? Its way more efficient to draw an Opus than to test run for it, since test run costs you $3 and a draw. Also, drawing the opus helps you save Test Run for getting a needed breaker.

Go ahead destroy it....

If I count correctly, you're only using 14/15 influence, and I think we can improve the situation dramatically with only a few tweaks.

First, go ahead and drop those two bank jobs. You're looking to Test Run out or draw an early Magnum Opus, which makes Bank job a waste of space. You're already running 3x Modded, so I don't think it'll be too hard to get out your most important programs.

Now that you're sitting at 10/15 influence, lets take a look at your breakers. Corroder is certainly the most efficient barrier breaker, but I think you could conceivably drop this card and use either Battering Ram (You're already using ZU.13 and Dinosaurus, so the extra MU isn't that big of a deal), or just double down on Snowball, if you want to save your Modded's for Femme/Yogosaurus installation. At this point, I'd say throw in two copies of Inside Job. Everybody hates the sneaky shaper who scores from early remotes thanks to a surprise Inside Job. Alternatively, consider Stimhack.

Also, quick question. What are you planning to Sacrifice to Aesops? Just Rabbit Holes and (possibly) lategame Dinosaurus? What if we put in another Infiltration? There's a lot of decks out right now that would love to ruin your day (see "NBN NO Advance") when they know you can run any server on the board. Better Safe than sorry.

Hope my words have been useful. Good luck.

I love how instead of insulting you just helped me out... love you guys...

I have bank job mainly to abuse of an unprotected or poorly protected remote... more than a few thimes i have landed both in one turn, getting 14 creds instad of the eight that would give magnum and then trashing both with aesops for 2 more...

Anyway putting in inside job its an idea that i would really love...

Battering ram... i dont like it very much...

ÇUsing 3 MO and 2 Test run? Maybe i could...

Stimhack? Another good idea for the last runs...

Ill give a try to a lot of these tweaks!

Thanks

More tips:
Easy Mark in a Magnum Opus deck seems silly. If youre worried about not having Opus, Armitage is better and doesnt cost influence. When Pawnshopped, playing and using Armitage 5 times is the same thing as using Opus 6 times. So its basically an OPus for a while until you get a real Opus. (Hopefully, letting you not burn $3 and a click using Test Run for it!)

Also, if you have Pawnshop, then Sacrificial Construct is actually Easy Mark, but doesnt cost influence and is sometimes much more important than Easy Mark. Consider another pawnshop and alternative 'easy mark's.

Finally, the deck really only has two ways to win:
Maker's Eye.
Waiting for the opponent to play an agenda, then running it. A fast advance deck will crush you by waiting to draw agendas then instant-scoring them, over and over.

You need some form of pressure. An example from each faction:
Anarch: Medium. You could splash this and then your plan is to dig R&D hard once set up. If you do this, they cant draw an agenda, so you also prevent their victory (unless they already had it all in hand).
Criminal: Sneakdoor. You could put out a surprise Sneakdoor, or Test Run for it(!), when you suspect that the agendas are piling up, then get three free runs into the hand. Because who ices archive vs shaper?
Shaper: Notoriety. Since you can break anything, this lets you break centrals and then get a free point. Alternately, with All Nighter you can play multiples at once, efficiently. This can help you close out the game, instead of sitting there waiting for them to play an agenda, while they refuse to play agendas and just put more and more ice on every server.
