Vegas Showdown (2005) ranked 202
Lords of Vegas (2010) ranked 368
Las Vegas (2012) ranked 733

I own Lords of Vegas. I'm wondering about the other two games. What say you?

Suddenly a shot rang out! A door slammed. The maid screamed. Suddenly a pirate ship appeared on the horizon! While millions of people were starving, the king lived in luxury. Meanwhile, on a small farm in Kansas, a boy was growing up.

Aside from the theme, there's not really much in the way of similarities to compare and contrast here.

Vegas Showdown has each player building their own casino, and trying to manage cash flow and growth. It's a bidding, tile laying game that is a bit like Alhambra done more interestingly.

Las Vegas is a pure dice roller. There seem to be some interesting choices, but it still is "just" a dice game.

I've heard Showdown compared to Princes of Florence - and I can see that. I am a big VS fan.

Nate is right here, and even then he's actually incorrect. Aside from the TITLE there is nothing in common with these games.

Well there is something in common, I think these are all good games for what they are, but none of them are really great or best in class.

Vegas Showdown is a fun auction/tile laying game
Lords of Vegas is a nice area control/tile laying game
Las Vegas is a nice dice rolling/area control game
