I have an edition of Monopoly that isn't listed on this site. It's the 1978 Anniversary edition. It included extra playing pieces, twice as much money and a spindle to hold the deed cards. Here's a pic of it:

How do I add this version of the game to the site?

Go to the 'Misc' drop down menu, down at the bottom of the list it says 'Add to Database' and click on 'Board Games'. Fill in the details on the form, wait a bit, hey presto, new game entry.

Actually go to add a version in versions. There are pics of your version in the database, so if it is approved, they can be linked there as well.

For any game other than Monopoly, this would be the right thing to do. But for Monopoly, there is the Monopoly Fiat, meaning that adding it as a new game, not a version, is appropriate.

I obviously know about the Monopoly Fiat. But that is for different themed editions.

When they start printing new sets with the cat token in them, it will just be a different version. The current sets with the speed die, are just different versions.

I have this version, it is just the basic game with two sets of money instead of one, a Title Card Holder, and two "extra tokens" that have been in every set for a long time.

A different version is appropriate for what he is talking about.
