PIRATE´S CAVE – THE SEARCH FOR GOLD
The Cave - Solo Play

REPORTING RESULTS
Please report your results. If possible use this method:

3G, 0GW, 3GD(150/175), 3CL, 0TL, (BS) or (EX)

G= Gold collected
GW/X(XXX)= Gold found on water tiles/from X possible (Depth)
GD(XXX)= Gold found on dead end tiles (Depth)
CL= Consumables left at end of game
TL= Tiles left at end of game
(BS) or (EX)= Base Set used or Expansion tiles included

What an absolutely fantastic idea! Shall look forward to trying this out as soon as. Nice job. laugh Could see SVES having some fun with tile artwork for this idea...

Played 4 more games today (updated in the Results post). I´m really having a lot of fun and excitement with it. The fact I like most is that you have to focus on one very rare goal (gold) instead of multiple goals (various exlpaoration tokens) spread all over the cave.

My first play of Pirate's Cave Solo, and I had much fun, even though there was a 125m drop between two tiles that annoyed the heck outta me. ^^ Thanks for sharing this wonderful variant!

One question, though, in regard to the limited supply: if you start your round at home base, do you - in contrast to the base game - need to consume food, too?
