Have to miss this one - either at home in bed with bad back, or at my nephew's wedding...

They explained everything in detail and at great length. After they finished I sat, despondent, contemplating a bleak and empty future. "I’m glad you’re depressed" said one. "It means you’ve understood the situation.”

Should be right to attend.

I'll bring Zombicide, Wings of Glory: WW1 Duel Pack, Axis & Allies Air Force Miniatures: Angels 20, Lords of Waterdeep and a few other bits 'n' bobs.

Maybe we can get a game of Star Wars: X-Wing Miniatures Game next month...

Good to hear. From what I have played of it so far, I think it's a damned good multi-player card game and despite the rules being a bit tough to digest, I think the effort is worth it.

Cheers

I'm keen to play Pax some more so long as I don't have to teach it. whistle I should have someone else with me who will play too (and has played before).
Oops, no, something has come up and can't make it at all.

I should be able to make it along.

Keen to try both games of the month. Although if anyone feels like bringing Relic then I'd happily play that.

Was looking forward to my first gaming event as a temporary Canberra local, & I still am.... I am back in Melbourne this weekend, which has been well productive so far: Blue Oyster Cult concert, ANZAC Day footy, & cleaning my boat (after 2 years neglected in a sale yard).

Also played a good game of Zombicide (mission three from the basic rule book) towards the end of the day.

As people finished games or drifted in late characters were shared around and passed over to them so they could join in.

A good game for the survivors where Doug's twin Uzis cleared a path to the exit. Mission accomplished with no casualties.

In the air, playing Wings of Glory: WW1 Duel Pack (2 aircraft a side) the Central Powers got roughed up by the Royal Flying Corps (RFC) pretty thoroughly with the RFC handing the Luftstreitkräfte two losses. If it wasn't for the explosion card the RFC wouldn't have lost a machine.

EDIT:

As for a name, how about Gungahlin Library Open Games (GLOG)?

I just thought of another name for the group. I really like this one, simple and to the point: Gungahlin Gamers

And the abbreviation?

You guessed it: Gaga
