I played the Steam Brother's Age of Steam Mexico expansion map last Saturday and can easily give it my wholehearted approval. I am delighted to see more innovative new ideas from the French Canadians, Pierre Paquet & Martin Sasseville. The character of their AoS: Mexico map is both appropriate and well done.
Excellent work, gentlemen!

I will be looking forward to getting it, John.
I have been very impressed with their other maps.
They are so beautifully made that you forget they are not from Warfrog.

So you purchased their China/S. America/NE US/S. Africa expansion set, Mik?

What did you think of them?

Personally, I was quite impressed with the Steam Bros. maps. They're very nicely done.

Now if I only knew where to store them!

I wish that they were single sheets rather than two sheets. Then they would be easier to keep in the tube with my other hobbyist maps (North of England, Merseyside, Japan etc).

I agree but hey, I'll deal with it if they are fun maps.

I expect that the Steam Brothers will wait until they have another map done before they start shipping them out. Their current four map expansion set shall just have to hold you for a while, Iain.

We'll wait for a while before publishing new maps like Mexico. We're still very busy selling our first 4 maps. Most of our 100 kits are sold and we still receive many orders.

We're actually developing and playtesting many new maps for Age of Steam. We keep John informed about our developments and we work with him before releasing any new products.

If you visit Kinkos or Office Depot or similar copy shops, they will let you have a 'Ledger Paper' box. They fit in those boxes, OK?

Regardless the amount of time it takes to make brand new 4 map kit, I am positive, given John's approval, that it will be worth the wait. You will not be disappointed.
