Hello JAPAN
I have a tour plan to KYUSHU,JAPAN in July.
Can you guys give me some information about the game shops in FUKUOKA
or any other shops in bigcitys of KYUSHU.
And of course it will be a great pleasure if there is any chance for me to attend a local game's party.
Wish you all have a good game

There is a branch of Yellow Submarine in Fukuoka.

In case you can't read Japanese well, here is a google map link.

I realize that this is an old post; but, thank you so much for posting it. I moved to Fukuoka about a year and a half ago and have been trying to find a decent shop. I will check this place out as soon as I can. I've been living vicariously through Amazon; but, would love to look at an actual shop again.

Yes, the Yellow Submarine in Tenjin has a big selection. Also the board game section of Yodobashi Camera in Hakata is pretty good. (My info is current as of spring 2017)

Thanks for the information. I wouldn't have even thought of Yodobashi for games. I'll have to check that out, too. I bought some computer and electronic stuff from there when I first moved here; but, haven't gone back in there since.

I just opened a small shop/playspace in Tenjin. The homepage is mostly in Japanese, but check it out: cafemeeple.jp We have lots of games (~250) to play and a few (~40) for sale.

We do a meetup every Friday where we play games in English & Japanese.

Swing by if you want to play some games!

Somehow, I missed your reply. I'm very excited about your place and look forward to visiting soon. I bookmarked your site and am following your Twitter feed. Thanks, so much, for letting me know about your shop!
