Premise
Everyone's Special is a type of Werewolf game in which each player will have one or more special powers. To compensate for this and to keep an all-reveal from breaking the game, the role list is hidden. Read some of the previous games in this series to get a feel for some of the types of powers you may encounter. Expect powers and roles that are interesting, but not off-the-wall silly.

Alignment and Victory Conditions
There is an evil team and a good team. There is no neutral team. There are also no alignment changes. Everyone wins or loses with their team- there are no individual victory conditions. There may, however, be hidden (team) VCs; see "Victory", below.

Special Powers
Everyone will know all the abilities and implications of their roles. I will make every effort to have role descriptions written as completely and unambiguously as possible. Where interactions between two or more roles exists, the powers will be worded such that the handling of the interaction is clear when both powers are known.

The above notwithstanding, players are encouraged to ask any questions they may have about their powers in their mod chat. Players cannot ask questions about other players' powers that were claimed in the thread. The proper procedure in this case is to ask the player who made the claim to pose the question in his own mod chat, who will then relay the answer. (or make one up, if the claim was fake!) Roles and powers that are publicly revealed in the thread (such as those held by a dead player whose role was revealed) may be questioned publicly.

Some roles may reference other, specific roles. This may or may not include the identity of the player(s) who have that role. The player with this role may or may not know that another role references him in this way.

Views and other information-gathering abilities are not 100% accurate. However, rest assured that any power that can muddle a view will be carefully balanced with the rest of the game. Views may also be blocked, suppressed, or redirected.

Role Assignment
Roles are always assigned randomly at the beginning of the game. Players cannot influence this procedure, however there may be powers that can grant powers to other players.

Voting and Lynch
Tiebreak is always LHLV. There are no tiebreak altering powers, but there may be vote-altering powers or lynch-altering powers.

The standard Cassandra tally will show the number of players voting for a candidate. This may not coincide with the number of votes that candidate received. A tally showing the number of votes is not publicly available. If a player other than the one at the top of the tally is lynched, it's a strong possibly that voting shenanigans may have taken place. Given this, know that such powers are potent, and will be balanced accordingly.

Players may vote for No Lynch. If No Lynch has the most votes, (or has the LHLV in case of a tie) a player will not be lynched that day.

The voting deadline (aka Dusk) will occur 0-60 minutes from the quoted deadline given in Cassandra. This number will be randomly determined each day, and is not known ahead of time.

Votes will be counted if they are posted prior to Dusk, regardless of timestamps. Votes posted after Dusk will not be counted.

The mod will make every effort to post Dusk at the prescribed time, but due to circumstances outside his control, it may be delayed. If there is a delay, Dusk will be posted as soon as possible, and votes up to that point will still be valid, even if they were made after Dusk was originally to have taken place. If the delay is significant, the night deadline may be pushed back as well. If a delay is known beforehand, someone may be appointed to post Dusk in my stead, and the results of the lynch will be posted at the earliest opportunity. In the event BGG is down during the lynch hour, or the hours leading up to it, lynch may be delayed. Check your mod chats during a BGG outage for any updates. Similarly, deadlines may be delayed if Cassy suffers an outage. Every effort will be made to keep the game as fair as possible for all parties in the event of unexpected delays or outages.

Reveals
By default, alignment is revealed for lynches, and nothing is revealed for any other kills. However, it is very likely that powers exist which are capable of expanding the information that can be learned about dead players.

Deadlines, and Weekend Policy
Dusk occurs at a random point in time between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM. Dawn is always at 5:00 PM. (Cassy lists dusk at 3:00, which is the earliest point at which dusk could occur)

The game will not run on weekends or (US) federal holidays.

Night
Night officialy begins as soon as Dusk is posted. Players may post freely at night, until thirty minutes before Dawn. (in this case, 5pm)

Players may not post between 4:30 PM and the following dawn. Anyone with a post timestamped 4:31 or later may be penalized, so please keep an eye on the clock if you're posting at night. The mod does not like penalizing players, but will do so if necessary. Players with chats may continue to use those without restriction.

This rule exists to prevent players from night-sniping critical information, similar to how the random lynch time curbs vote sniping. Players have the right to act on anything said during the night, that night. Feel free to snipe information at 4:30pm, but do so at your own peril.

Items
Players may get items via special powers. There are two kinds of items: invoke, and continuous effect. It may or may not be obvious which type an item falls into, or what (if anything) it does. The effect of an item could be anything that a player power is capable of; no conversions, etc.

Invoke items, such as potions, are invoked as a night action to provide an effect (or not). All players will have a "Use" night order that is used for this purpose. Sometimes, an item will be lost when it is invoked. The effect of an invoke item may have any duration from instantaneous to permanent, and may or may not be cumulative. If an item that cannot be invoked is invoked, the player will be notified of this. Only one item can be invoked per night. Some items cannot be invoked without other items in the player's possession, such as a gun that requires ammunition.

Continuous effect items give their effect as long as they are in a player's possession. If a continuous effect item is passed, its effect is suspended until the next Dawn.

Unwanted items may be passed to other players. Use the PassA, PassB, etc. orders for this. There is no limit to the number of items that can be held by a single player. If there is not enough pass orders to satisfy a player's passing needs, that player should notify the mod so that more pass orders can be given. There may be powers that modify or interfere with the pass mechanic.

If a player with items is killed, the fate of his items depends on how he died. If he was lynched, the items will be distributed randomly to his voters, starting with the longest held vote. If he is night killed, the wolf who submitted the kill order (or someone else, by wolf consensus) gets all the items. If he is killed any other way, the items are lost.

Death and Dead Players
There may be players capable of communicating with the dead, or even restoring the dead to a living state. Therefore, dead chat will be unavailable until all possibilities for this have been extinguished.

Scripts, and other Miscellany
All methods of instanteneous posting are permitted. Time delay posting of any sort is prohibited. Strongly encrypted messages of any sort are prohibited.

Night kills are not mandatory; the wolves may elect not to kill a player on any night. The wolves may have powers that offer incentives for them to do this. Similarly, "No Lynch" is a valid option for the village, and can be used without restriction.

If a player fails to submit an order by the deadline (and the power is one that obviously should be used), a target will be chosen randomly. Conditionals are welcome; put them in bold in your mod chat.

Night action timing
Most night actions follow the below sequencing, but there may be exceptions listed in the rules for that role.

1. Item use
2. Anything that's not in the other three categories
3. Killing powers (including the NK)
4. Item passing

Victory
Good wins when all the wolves are dead. Evil wins when the wolves reach parity with non-wolves. There may be other ways for good or evil to win. It is not known who is aware of such alternate VCs.

The Cassandra Automatic Vote Tally System

Your Moderator has enabled the Cassandra Automatic Vote Tally system
for this game. In order for it to function correctly, your votes will
need to be formatted correctly. The following rules will explain what
you will need to do:

Players
1. All votes must be bolded

2. The entire vote statement must be bolded and enclosed in brackets:
[vote jmilum]

3. If your game allows, and you [vote nightfall] your vote will
be locked. Your moderator may have disabled nightfall votes.

4. Vote tallies will be automatically posted to the game thread
regularly if the tally has changed. The Tally and Vote Logs (for each
game day) are also available on the Cassandra game page.

5. If your vote is not counted be sure to check the Vote Log page and
see if it was marked invalid and why.

6. Case does not matter and simple typos will not cause the vote to fail.

7. You may [vote no lynch] if your game allows it.

8. Non voting players will be listed in the tallies. This will only be
correct if the Moderator notes which players have been killed (see below)

9. Editing a vote post will invalidate the vote and it will not be counted.


Moderators
1. The moderator will need to post [Dawn] when the day begins
(after the night results are posted) and [Dusk] when the lynch
deadline has passed and the day is over. Votes will not be counted
after [Dusk] has been posted. They will be registered again
after [Dawn] is next posted.

2. You may include a day number in the dawn and dusk post for
informational purposes, but it will not be used by the system.
Cassandra will increment an internal counter each time it sees
[Dawn] no matter what day is shown in a dawn post (i.e.
[Dawn 3] the three is allowed but ignored)

3. After dusk has been posted, the Moderator may go to the game page
on Cassandra to request a Final Tally to be posted before the normal
scan period has elapsed (i.e. Game Y gets scanned at 45 min. after the
hour, if it lynches at 7pm the moderator may request a tally to be
posted from the game page before 7:45pm. it will also be posted
regardless of whether or not it has been changed since the last
posting) - Do this by clicking on the 'Force Vote Tally' link.

4. You will need to note which players were killed via the lynch or at night by
either posting [killed jmilum] in the thread, or by going to the game
page and editing the player list. When posting in the thread, be sure to post
[dusk] before posting the lynch kill, and post [dawn] before
posting the night kill.
Example:
A. lynch time has passed so post [dusk]
B. goto the game page and select a final tally to be posted
C. check the final tally and post [killed melsana]
D. after the night deadline has passed post [dawn]
E. post the night kill with [killed kima]
