We should have more live werewolf chat/games.

Maybe we could even have some 'live' presentations for the Wolfy awards?

Oooh !! Sounds like fun! (Sounds like a headache for any mod doing really complex games though )

I do prefer the forums for many reasons though. I like being able to go back and read these threads later and not having to worry about that in-game either...

A "Room" game would definitely have to be simpler. Or so I would think...

Well, I'm completely game to play a "Room" game of WW !

I'm all for that, of course. Maybe there are more people now who would be interested. Before we couldn't drum up enough interest to get one goung

Xand and I were saying today that we enjoyed the live games we played & would love to play another.

Ooo! I must ask dalestephenson if we can have a Hufflepuff Common Room

I agree, though, that the forums give the opportunity to read back over the games, which is great. And forum-based games, I think, will always be richer because there's more time for things to develop.

Perhaps we could put in a feature request for the ability to save a log of the chats - I have used that in other chat applications.

GeekChat werewolf would be fun! Although I fear that due to timezone issues I will not be able to participate much. If there's enough Europeans interested I could mod a "European-friendly" GCWW game. Around 2PM BGG time would fit me quite nicely.

I probably won't be playing live because I like the ability to play when I have the time, and can double task work and reading/posting... If I was in a live game I would feel I need to put all my attention on the game and not split it with work which would be a bad thing.

Also, I don't think a Live section of the Wolfies is a very good idea, because that would seclude those members who can't be on at that time. Which would be ashame in my opinion.

Great facility for those who can use it.
But the thing I most relish about WW on BGG is the ability to squeeze it into corners of the day when I have free time, so that I'm (kinda) in control of it, not it in control of me.
OK, who am I kidding.
But you get the idea

And it would incur time-zone issues, no question. But for those who can use it - great!
But please don't all migrate over there and leave us non-US people alone and forlorn in the wilderness that would be the vacated WW forum!
