Hi there,

I won't be painting these so I was just wondering how bad they will look. If the base is a seperate piece (like say Warhammer / Warmachine) like in the videos I'm afraid it will be a no go for me. However if it is one piece, like say in Descent, it won't look as bad.

Anyone know either way for sure?

J

Most will have bases separate from figure and you'll need to attach them.

Some of the larger monsters should come with base attached. I'm pretty sure that's the last I heard of it.

Ah so, despite how little, the game does require assembly (glue, etc). And they will have that horizontal gap in the base that will need to be filled as well.

They wont be slotta bases, that design is for metal mini to plastic base. Probably one piece plastic that you glue feet to.

Plus the minis will be real plastic and not that rubber crap Descent uses.

As said above, no slots. Just feet onto solid plastic.

I guess things like the arachnid minions can stand on their own?

But maybe that's not how they are supposed to be played / used regardless.

I really like that they're separate, because I may swap all my bases for clear acylic ones.

Why? Considering the number of models that may be on the board at one time, I'd like to be able to see the tile underneath (for the great art!), plus I can put everything on round bases if I want since I'm not sure I want square ones yet.

I think they were doing square because the round bases will not fit on the board.

This was taken off the FAQ on the KS page. So looks like less assembling than you may think

Will the Myth miniatures need assembling?

Most will be fully assembled. The larger miniatures (mini-bosses and bosses) will have pieces, but they will be large pieces
