Hi

I'm trying to find one of these models for wings of glory for my Dad but can't seem to find one any where? Have they been discontinued? Or is there a way of pre-ordering? Or does any one have a link to a site that sells them?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Neffer

Well, if you are actually asking for the plane you listed, the link won't help much. Given that you are in the WW1 section, I'll guess you did mean the plane also known as the "Brisfit" or "Biff" but never called "Beaufighter."

They have not released this plane in minies form. The cards and deck appeared in the WoW booster pack "Crossfire."

I have heard it is on the "future release" list, maybe even Sries 7 (which would be after the next series--which is coming soon). Still I would think you are looking at at least 12 months.

Easiest work around is a metal model or (easier still) a Shapeways 3-d print job

Thanks Jeff, but the one My Dad is after is a World war I plane:

Thanks for the reply though much appreciated!

Kevin, Thanks for the reply and the information, I'll run the "crossfire" pack past my dad. I had seen that model on that link you sent me before. Its 1/144 scale. What scale is Wings of Glory? Also I was confused as it has the propellers at the back on the model shown ?

The model comes from Shapeways with the props in the back. You break them off and glue them in their proper spot.

Haha, I feel like a dumbass. A good example of why it's bad to post while at work -- reading comprehension goes out the window. Thanks for letting me down gently. Now I'm drooling over those Shapeway models.

In the meantime, here a preview of Ares' model:

The machinegun above the upper wing will be just on one of the models released, with the colors of the E2466 Bristol F2B as the one preserved in the Royal Air Force Museum at Hendon (UK). The other models will not feature it.
