They're certainly pretty, but why wouldn't you just use d12 or d20 printed with 1-4?

Those look really nice, but do they roll reasonably straight? I suspect the rounded tetrahedral shape would tend to roll straight for a little bit, and then take a sudden turn and roll off in some unexpected direction.

Those do look good. But Koplow also makes 4-sided dice that are not the usual pyramid shape too.

Very nice, but also very expensive. Honestly, I could buy a game for the price of two of these.

I wish you good luck.

If I had the $$$ to spare, and a need for D4s, I'd definitely put in an order for 4 of these. I might back it for the minimum anyway, just because they're cool!

If these reach general production, do you have a planned MSRP for them?

If they were in plastic, and at a cheaper price, I would be interested.

I'm pretty sure I've seen some very similar ones on there already. Truncated sphere dice are pretty easy to make as 3D models.

Hi - thanks for the positive reviews.

I know its expensive, but its not as simple as cutting out a cube which is what most of the dice projects do on Kickstarter.

I will make plastic ones next, die cast but they come with there own problems and will require tooling costs.

As for them being on Shapeways they're not I checked and had ot prove it to my patent lawyer. Truncated spheres are there, but this is a different design and the patent is sound.

thanks

Leo
