Nice summary.

A few points to clarify, though:

Political action: (+1 stealth) Play a political card from your to call a referendum. Political cards effect all players in the game, and either pass and take action or fail. They pass or fail based off of the number of for and against votes. Votes are determined by titled had by your vampires, or by the number of political cards you burn to gain votes.

Note that each player is limited to playing no more than one political action card for a vote in the referendum.

Aggravated damage is the worst kind a vampire can take, and taking even one point knocks a vampire into Torpor and forces them to lose a blood to regenerate from the wound.

Just one or the other -- one point of aggravated damage will knock a vampire into torpor but doesn't require a blood loss.

If he's already in torpor (or has already been "knocked" there by the first point of aggravated damage), then each point of aggravated damage will cause him to lose a blood or be "killed" (burned and send to final death in the ash heap).

a "small" thing i did not see explained but that is very important for the flow of the game.
Each player has always 7 cards in hand, if you play a card you immediatly replace.

unless the card text says not to replace until after combat, like with wakes and things of that like.

good breakdown on the game, although the article cannot possibly hint at the balance and intrigue at the table when doing a 6 player VTES game.... awesome, simply awesome.

I think its the best CCG game ever.
