I'm just looking around for some good model kickstarter game supporting websites (not Kickstarter game pages). Any one happen to know of a list of them somewhere to save me trawling through successful projects in KS or even http://boardgamegeek.com/geeklist/150923/item/2461509#item24... ?

What kind of things do you want to see or not see in a game specific website backing up a kickstarter campaign?

On my list of options are:
Great professional design
Lots of great images of the game and its components
About the game
Thematic extras
Development updates (blog style) with commenting options
Designer diary
About the designer
About the publisher
Gameplay vids
Review vids?
Rules
FAQs
Ask a question
Links to the KS campaign
Twitter / facebook feeds
Responsive design for better mobile viewing?

Re: Anyone seen a good list of Kickstarter websites & what do you like or dislike in KS game websites?
I don't.

I just want to see a good kickstarter campaign.

Information on kickstarter and updates in my inbox.

Kinda don't feel like clicking around to other stuff.

/lazy (but it's my money . . . )

This is a connection of mine (friend of a relative) that just finished yesterday and was funded 2,315% over funding goal.

I think that their approach would be a good model.

It might also be that it is a miniatures game that pushed it to the level it attained. These seem to get a big following.

Hopefully, when I am ready to move to that part of my game, I can take a hint from some of their kickstarter and apply it to my funding.

Yeah - nearly got to $1 million!

But I think the consensus is that with all their stretch goals being reached and a huge number of minis being crammed into the $100 reward with only $13(WTF!?!) international postage that the deal was too good to pass up. Saw some speculators hoping they would be able to resell for more than $100 too. Bah. Would be interested to see an analysis of how they ran their campaign - but i think games with minis are different to card or boardgames, they have sheer toy factor.

However they only had a KS campaign page and a slider pic linking to it from the corp website at http://www.mercsminis.com/
im seeking views on websites that flesh out the KS page eg;
http://ioworlds.com/
http://www.dragonshoardthecardgame.com
etc
