Leelawadee crowdfunding project started, see
https://www.spiele-offensive.de/Spieleschmiede/Leelawadee

Start date: 26 April 2013 --- End date: 31 Mai 2013

The site text is in 5 languages currently. English/German/Dutch/Spanish/Portuguese
French and Italian get added after the weekend.
Japanese and Chinese is planned later.
Other languages?

(Transport to US and Japan is only EUR 15,-)

On the site you can finance the rulebook language of your choice for EUR 12,-. 10 backers needed, your name in the rulebook as reward. We hope this is a nice method to determine the rulebook languages. (At least English/German/Dutch are in.)

Finance goal: EUR 4.000,-
At 8.000,- : Thick cardboard tiles
At 12.000,- : game box instead of tube-with-cover
At 14.000,- : 3 additional gardens with different difficulty levels

It's a game with special materials: handmade flowers and butterflies. In past years I made such games in small printruns in tubes. Because the handmade parts make the game too expensive for selling through wholesale. (The costs for the handmade parts don't go down with a large printrun.) But with crowdfunding I hope we can make the packing/cardboard/prints luxerous too. I and Phanee (who makes the parts) will be happy with your help in financing.

Thank you for this opportunity to help bring the game into existence! I look forward to seeing you succeed in your crowd funding endeavour!

Now I wish the extra goals get funded too. Normally I don't sell my easy games easily and the handmade parts make a large printrun impossible for this game, so I was thinking of a small printrun for the Essen-fair with low-budget solutions for the gardens and the packing of the game. (Like Tricky Wildlife, Ab-in-die-Tonne, Tricky Safari and Tricky Trek in past years.) Now it would be very cool when I can improve that with this crowdfunding campaign.

Italian and French page texts added. I hope the idea with rulebook language funding will work.

2 more days to go and it seems to get close to the 12K stretch goal, which is the game box instead of game tube.
For me in the short term it may be better financially if funding reaches EUR 11.999,- ... but the game in a box would be cool because during development I thought I had to choose cheaper solutions for tiles and package to make this game possible with the "expensive" flowers/butterflies.

See the gameplay animation video on the crowdfund page, which shows a complete example game. I like such an animation. Maybe a bit slow, but I wanted that so you can follow the players' choices.

Now we got the game box and only the expansion is missing.

I hope for more friends of this game!

When paying with Paypal? I'm not a Paypal-specialist, maybe another here knows more?

Yes - I can make the payment - it's just that the exchange rate is so bad right now it makes the cost near $80 for me.

Did you notice that shipping to USA is only 15 USD for this project because of a logistic cooperation?

Please do not add the 15 EUR manually to the contribution. The Spieleschmiede does it itself in the checkout process. So the reward with 1 copy incl. shipping should be about 60 USD at the hobby gardener level.

It also seems that exchange rates are better when you use the Creditcard instead of Paypal. CC may charge an addition 1%, but the ratio tends to be better.
