That's MRS. McFoxFace to you!

The head teacher for our robotics program is the high school math teacher. He is a super awesome guy and gives up tons and tons of his time for robotics.
We are giving him a "Thank You" "appreciation" "we think you're awesome" gift tomorrow.
I think it would be cool to make a card with a clever, appropriate math equation. Or maybe some software code. He used to also teach science, so it could be something with the elements, but he's not teaching that now, so that would be less relevant.
Anyway, do you have ideas?
EDIT:
Okay your ideas led me to my own idea. Our math teacher uses a lot of puns so here's the card he got:
I should have gone with exponential but I didn't think of that until I had drawn the graph, so there ya go.

Simple, straightforward, very nice, I like!

Some dude
Netherlands Groningen There dismay took them, for at the gate was a guard of whom no tidings had yet gone forth.
Swiftly the wolf grew, until he could creep into no den, but lay huge and hungry before the feet of Morgoth. There the fire and anguish of hell entered into him, and he became filled with a devouring spirit, tormented, terrible, and strong.
Then swiftly all his inwards were filled with a flame of anguish, and the Silmaril seared his accursed flesh. Howling he led before them, and the walls of the valley of the Gate echoes with the clamour of his torment.

Maybe not quite appropriate for this, but this one made me chuckle:

Google "What part of don't you understand tee shirt"
I like Tickmanfan's better, though.

But with only one significant digit, the true thanks value could be anywhere from "Thanks a 500,000" to "Thanks a 1,499,999"...

Oh boy, I just know this is exactly what he will say, so
is there a better equation to get a million?

Ooh a little higher, now a bit to the left, a little more, a little more, just a bit more. Oooh yes, that's the spot!

PV = nRT the only equation you need for Chemistry.
