This is my WTA version of a Rapid Fire scenario , to celebrate the news of GIOGAMES upcoming Eastern Front expansion.

D Day +1
The Push on Carpiquet 7th June 1944

The advance guard of the Canadian 9th Brigade are advancing on it’s D Day objective , when it comes up against concealed units of the 12th SS Hitler Jugend Division...

Map layout: F1 D A

Scenario Length: 20 game turns
Initiative: German
Event Cards: 10 cards
Allied Cards: 2 cards
Axis Cards: 4 cards

Victory Conditions:
To win , a player must control all of Franqueville at the end of game turn 20.

ALLIED (Canadian)

Rally: 3 dice
No Artillery support unless reinforced by event card

Elements of Canadian 9th Brigade
All units enter via L10 on board A
Units must stay on road hexes towards Buron and Authie until fired upon or move past Authie.

4 Infantry (each unit may stack with a tank or tank destroyer unit and move at AFV rate until fired upon or fire themselves)

Off Map Artillery Pool:
3 BTR , three with 5 attack dice
Radio Link: 2 dice

All units set up hidden.
Up to 50% of units may deploy on board D in hex numbers 6 or less
Up to 50% of units may deploy on board F1 in any hex number

Overlays:
Buron - City 1 is placed to cover A11 (half hex) B11 , B10 on board A
Authie - City is placed E10 and Village 1 placed E11 on board D
Franqueville – City 2 is placed F6 and Village 2 placed F5 on board F1
Cussy – Village 3 is placed F10 on board F1

All City terrain is classed as Village for firing , defence and movement.
Cultivated hexes are considered Bocage
