Most of the time will be playing solo but sometimes I'll be playing with another 1 or 2 players.

Which one should I get first?

Did research about all these 3 games and all of them also has Pros and Cons.
Cant make up my mind which one to go

Whichever you get you are going to wish you had one of the others

So, based on that, I would start with LoD, as it is the latest and benefits most from the experience of the previous two, and I think it is the most "developed" of the three sets.

Hi Ricky! i enjoy watching your boardgame playthrough! Awesome work.

Anyway, what if these 3 compared with Mice & Mystics?
Not sure whether I can do this comparison or not cause I dont really have budget to get all of them, need to pick 1 wisely

PS: Personally I really love DnD theme, but it seems like overall Mice & Mystics does better job in gameplay and scenario?

Mice and Mystics is very much a simpler game. It has its challenges here and there, but nothing like the D&D box sets. A lot of people call it a kids game (which I agree with), but adults can enjoy it too. But it really isn't a challenge to play like the D&D games.

What's so great about it?

I had a conversation with someone yesterday about the two. Mice and Mystics has the better storyline, but I think the DnD games offer a bit more flexibility.

Mice and Mystics is a lot simpler, as Tom said, most notably in the way the AI functions (they just move or attack, there's not semi-flowchart like what you get in the DnD games, and both are far simpler than the AI cards in games like Gears of War (or games which have enemies run by other players for that matter).

I think the DnD games together offer a giant toolbox so you can create your own adventures. Plus you get a metric crapton of minis compared to the other games. The boxes are just huge.

Mice and Mystics is cute, and fun, but a lot simpler than the DnD games, which are still pretty simple (but I like it for what it is). For some, the DnD games fall flat, and Mice and Mystics rocks, so ymmv.

*edit* To answer your question, I'd get Drizzt first. You get characters that are more well known, and are borderline OP. You also get the rules for preconstructed dungeons, which can be fun too). *edit*

I heard they are some competitive and semi coop scenario in LoD?
If I only have 2,3 players (including myself), are we able to enjoy those scenario?

I think if I were to start over and could chose from all three... I think I'd go with LoD first.

Do you need more card ideas for the D&D Adventure System games?
Avatar

Well definitely check out the NinjaDorg / GeckoTh Room Event and Campaign Event card variants in the FILES section for each game. Perhaps they can help you decide which one you like best.

Room Events are cards you draw when a hero figure first enters a tile. It describes the room and requires a die roll similar to a D&D module adventure.

Campaign Events are cards you draw between adventures if you're playing a campaign to see what happens to your heroes. There's currently a plan in place to expand the event decks from 30 unique cards to 48-52 cards. Check out the VARIANTS section for posts on how things are going with the decks.

I'm fond of all of the decks since I contributed a lot of cards to them. I'm told the Drizzt Campaign deck does a great job of capturing the feel of the novels. Ravenloft's campaign deck is supposed to be an excellent nod to the original module.

I have loved playing LoD 2 player with my 12 year old. We have played four games together. We won one, lost two on the final die rolls, and lost one badly. The game is challenging but feels doable at the same time. We also might try two characters a piece.

It looks to me that the game works great with 2-3 but also with more. The more players you have the more monsters or events that could be activated.

Honestly, WoA theme does appeal more to me but it seems like most of the ppl would say WoA is the worst among the 3 DnD board games?
Should I stick with my own preference or I should really give LoD a try since I really worry LoD turns out to be an easy game.

It is not too easy in my humble opinion. You feel like it takes effort, planning and some timely die rolls to win.

Really, once a cave troll smacks you away two tiles and does 3 damage, you'll realize it isn't super easy.
