The Verse flows throughout Aquaria. Through each ripple and wave, through every living being, The Verse binds us all as one.

I assume it is possible to play Eleusis with the Decktet, but this statement might be questionable.
What is your opinion on it?

In terms of game rules, I see no reason it couldn't work, although as a practical matter the Decktet has fewer cards so in terms of gameplay it might be harder for players to solve the "laws of nature" in time before the deck runs out, so perhaps the "laws of nature" would need to be simpler. It seems worth trying!

I haven't played Eleusis, and so I can't quite say.

However, Eleusis is somewhat like (and was part of the inspiration for) Zendo. There's discussion in an old thread about Decktet Zendo:

I think it would work just fine myself. It could be even more complex (maybe too much so) but no reason why it shouldn't work. Note that even the designer of Eleusis has said that the variant Eleusis Express http://www.logicmazes.com/games/eleusis/express.html is a better "game" than his original design.

All this talk is making me want to try Eleusis / Eleusis Express soon! (Probably first with standard cards just because most people I know are more familiar with them than Decktet, but also trying it with Decktet.)

Far be it for me to argue with the original game designer, but I recommend classic Eleusis over the express version. Admittedly, the original game is a bit more mathy at the end when you're counting up points. But there is a really interesting "Prophet" mechanic that I miss in the express.
