Vassal seems like a great way to play games online. However, there are never any players around, in the rooms waiting to play. Does anyone use it, what are your impressions?

Try also using the in game-mod mailbox - post times and availability and email addy in there so other users might see when they log on when they can try and get a game..

I've only used it for PBEM, playing several games of Crusader Rex on it. But you are right, there aren't usually many people there. that's the one nice thing about BSW, there almost always seems to be people there. Still Vassal is very nice for PBEM.

It is probably most ideal for PBM.
I find the system too cumbersome to enjoy in realtime.
