I am looking for a football game for my brother. I heard him talking last night about a game he loved to play in the 70's I'm assuming(he was born in 59'). He said you would put cards into the football game and that would determine the play. I don't have more info, but I would love to surprise him with this..I appreciate any help anyone has to offer...Thanks

I don't know if it's the same game and I can't find it either, but I did have a game in the 70s with cards played on a field. The player on offence would choose a play card which looked kind of like a play diagram you see. The opposing player would choose a defense card. The cards were placed over each other on the field at the point of play and holes in the cards and the relative alignment of the two plays would determine the outcome.

I can't find any reference to it now ...
