What's the scale of the game? Units, distance, time?

Game Scale:
Maps: 500m per hex
Time: There are 10 daylight turns in a day, each of which represent one hour of real time. In the campaign game, each day consists of 10 daylight turns, two night turns (each of which represent about seven hours).
Unit Size: I can't find where unit size is given, but it appears that units are Battalion or Company sized.

Hope this helps.

Cheers!

Mark

John Vasilakos's comment states that the units are companies.

(The First Battle/Sands of War system was designed for platoon-sized units and the conversion may have caused problems.)

Yes, except for some special cases (engineers etc) the units are companies.
