Aquire is terrible. It is an overrated game which is decided by the first merger. The ability to control a merge is purely luck. Avoid this if you value your time and money.

If you have a regular group who will invest the mental energy and time into learning Tigris and Euphrates then it is a great game.

Carcassonne can get old but that depends on you and your group. I found it lacked enough excitement to make me want to keep playing it or even keep it at all.

Tikal is good if your game group play fairly quickly or if you are watching a game on TV while you play. Each persons turn though interesting is not really interactive so in a 4 player game 3/4 of the time is spent waiting for your next turn.

This list can be cut down a bit by removing those that are not readily available:

Acquire: Goes on ebay for about $100 for the newer versions, $40-$50 for old versions. Save your money.
Taj Mahal: Also OOP

If you want games where you cut down on the amount of luck in the game then you can take out:

Carcassonne and Alhambra

Both are light, fairly easy tile drawing games. If you leave them in then I'd certainly only pick one of them.

Still, out of that list you really can't go wrong with any of those games, all are really good. Just roll some dice and choose that way.

Ask any of the 1000's of geeks here and you'll get a different answer. But for what it is worth, these are all available top-tier games for a group:

Aladdin's Dragons http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/492 is one of the most underrated games out there, IMHO
Around the World in 80 Days http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/12005 is great for new players as well as old pros
Daytona 500 http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/631 is cheap on eBay and is the classic, simple race game from Kramer
El Grande http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/93 by Kramer took share-ownership games to a new place and set the standard in area-control games
Hansa http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/8989 is the most clever game going, but it takes a trial to figure out what to aim for
Meuterer http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/902 has all the interaction of a huge boardgame but compacted into a deck of cards
Ra http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/12 is Knizia's classic bidding-meets-push-your-luck
Saboteur http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/9220 is a really fun, cheap game for big groups

I left out two-player titles and the ones you mentioned you already owned...
