So we played the game tonight for the first time, twice. Once was a three player game, once was a four player.

In the three player game we played with 30 tokens each. We antied up, then rolled, typically there was a definite winner in each round. So that person would roll for the geek symbol. When they failed to roll the geek we did a next round. Everyone antied up and we started again.

In the four player game we decided to just use 10 tokens, we did this because at30 the game just seemed too long. Often in this situation there was not a winner. Two people won against two people, so they rolled off, and the winner rolled for the chance for the pot.

After 6 rounds no one had won the pot. So I declared that if no one won the pot that we would declare that Sheldon won. So after four more rounds no one had won the pool even once so we put the game away.

I could not help but wonder if maybe there was something we were missing about how the pot works?

As far as the rules go, you add a chip each turn, roll to win, and then the winner tries to roll the atom to score the pot. That's really all there is to the game. It's a game best played with children or alcohol.
