I find it a bit odd that in a three player game one player plays 2 characters from opposing factions.

Has anyone tried 3 player? How did it work? Would one person using 2 characters from the same faction, and the other 2 players being in the opposite faction be better?

I would like to hear anyone's thoughts on this one.

Read it again. Not '2 characters from opposing factions' - it's 'two characters from the opposing faction' - ie, the faction opposing the other two players.

And any way I suggest you to try the cooperative variant when you are 3 players :

We tried it twice and it was pretty awful. Not fun at all. Go for an even player number or skip the game.

OOOPS!! Thanks Matt! That's what I get for reading the rules at 2 am wow

I would rather have it coop for less players, so I will definately consider the variant.
