I'm trying to test out an "entertaible" type setup with a projector and my laptop and I'm trying to find some computer boardgame ports that allow for hotseat play. Puerto Rico will have it, whenever I can actually get a copy in hand, I'm looking for something I can download this weekend and mess around with. I'd loaded up the San Juan game and the Saint Petersburg games but unfortunately those only allow for AI play. I need something where everyone plays off of the same screen and not through a network or online.

So anything out there that is free, downloadable and most important of all has a hotseat feature?

Here's an Axis and Allies game (requires free JRE 5.0+) with a hotseat option. (Actually, there is no AI option - which makes me sad...)

Good luck with your setup - sounds fun!

It's like Eurorails, but with randomly generated maps (yay, variety!) and a couple small tweaks to the rules. It works great for hotseat, and also has AI. I like it quite a lot.
