Hey there,

Can anyone reccommend a good place online to get English boardgames over here in the EU. My local games store (Germany) is decent, but sometimes I am looking for the english versions and don't want to pay shipping from the US.

Cheers,

Der_chad

There's quite a few UK based ones online:

www.shiregames.com
www.leisuregames.co.uk
www.gameslore.co.uk

I have bought from all of these people and they've always been great.

Retailers in Germany:

www.milan-spiele.de
www.pegasusshop.de
www.fanen.com

With fanen.com my is experience has been particulary good.

These carry mainly imported games which are not yet available in german, though.
Sorry I misunderstood your question there.

Try Milan-Spiele, they have some english version boardgames and the prices are ok too. Never had problems with them and their service is good as well...

I often also buy at Spielgilde, but they only rarely have english version boardsgames.

I generally use http://www.thegamesplayer.com for UK based orders, although most of my orders go to Adam Spielt in Germany!

Hi,

For a great list of online shops I would recommend:

http://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/96540

For a search engine that lets you search a lot of german stores:

http://www.brettspielsuche.de/

I usually order from:

www.philibertnet.com

have fun!

I am going to Scotland in April? What would you recommend us?

Mario
