Does anyone have any insight into what the new revised printing from FFG offers over their earlier version? I know this game is rated low but I have had it on my radar screen and wondering if anything new has been added/deleted in this version.

According to Christian Petersen of Fantasy Flight, it's just a reprint, not a revision. See the entry of January 22 here: http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/rants.html

Definitely worth getting, if you ask me. A true hidden gem.

Quite a fun game, especially with the advanced rules, I played this today actually.

We are trying to get this game to work. We have played five games. In each game, one player achives dominance early, and the other player never is able to catch up. When one person starts to win they always keep winning. Are we missing something?

(I am a big Knizia fan, so I really want the game to be fun.)

Possibally, you are having a poor experience because you did not notice that you win at the beginning and not the end of your turn. Not knowing the opponent has a chance to regain dominance can slant the game.
