Tonight we tried 2 of our newest expansions.
Our first game was on the Mexico map. Terrain is rough in most parts of the map and there is a new action, Nationalization. Set up of good was not good but most players were able to have an income of 1 or 2 on first turn. Martin had a slow start in the northern section of the map but he was able to connect Mexico and deliver many goods at 5 or 6 income and finally win the game. We already tried the Mexico map 4 or 5 times and it seems of our best maps for AoS. It's a tough map but with the Nationalize action you have new possibilities and it adds more interaction between players. John Bohrer also send us his comments about this map and he his group enjoyed it. If we publish a new set of maps, Mexico would be included.
Next we played our Northern India map. There is not many new rules but we can tell you you don't need to roll dice for production, terrain is rough and there is a small rule about monsoon. Marc-André was able to build a nice network and he bet many times to choose loco it paid. Players liked the fact that the new rules are simple but the difficulty is still high as shown in the scores of each players.
