The Uruk-Hai Song

By the tower of Isengard, there we sat down
Ye-eah we growled, when we remembered Rohan.

By the rivers of Anduin, we sieged them down
Ye-eah we groaned, climbing Helms Deep’s wall of stone.

We’re so wicked
Got carried away in rapacity
Saruman required from us a ring
Now how shall we single out the hobbit in the Fellowship’s band

We’re so wicked
Got carried away in rapacity
Saruman required from us a ring
Now how can you tell we're Uruk Hai - we got the White Hand.

Let the swords of Isengard and the darkness of our hearts
Be triumphant in our massive siege tonight

Let the swords of Isengard and the darkness of our hearts
Be triumphant in our massive siege tonight

By the tower of Isengard, there we sat down
Ye-eah we growled, when we remembered Rohan.

By the city of Edoras, there we marched down
Ye-eah we laughed, when we routed Theoden.

By the tower of Isengard (dead trees of Fangorn)
There we marched on (you got to sing an army song)
Ye-eah we fought, (sing a song of destruction)
When we remember Rohan. (yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah)

By the rivers of Anduin (villages of Rohan)
There we marched on (you hear the Rohirrim cry)
Ye-eah we slayed, (they need their little Aragorn)
When we besieged Rohan. (ooh, have the power)

Are you absolutely sure they sung this as they marched along?

Perhaps it was in the extended version.

Anduin is not that close to Rohanmeeple

Of course, they probably aren't the best follks at geography, so whatever.

We can all form our own opinions, but my mental image of an Uruk-Hai is of a monosyllabic red-neck gorilla. I would have thought their songs would have had a parental warning sticker on the cd box for adult language and words like; rapacity, and triumph indeed any thing with two syllables would be way off the radar.

However they would have without doubt have heard of and liked Boney M, especially Ra Ra Rasputin and Ma Baker.

I'm also thinking that they would like to dress as 70s glam rockers Sweet at their Christmas parties.

The Anduin part is a reference to the breaking of the fellowship on the Anduin banks.

Really? You don't think the Boney M connection is stronger then?
