The Gaming Association of Southwestern Pennsylvania (GASP) meets on the second Saturday of every month. Game Days are held just outside of Pittsburgh, near the old airport in Moon. We typically have between 25-40 gamers present. All types of games are played... eurogames, wargames, CCGs, RPGs. New players are always welcome. For more information, visit www.GASPgamer.com

Our next Games Day is this Saturday, February 11. We broke attendance records last month with 40 gamers. Here's hoping we can do it again. For an example of the kinds of games we play, check out our latest GeekList. http://boardgamegeek.com/geeklist/13030

Cheers.

So if I sit to your left, does that mean nobody sits to my left and I get infinite turns?

Your website's server must have gotten overloaded or something similar. Bookmarked it last night so that I could review it today, and now it's showing a "web domain squatting" splash page.

Sorry, that's me screwing around with it. We're trying to get it moved to a faster server, so the domain name isn't working right now... it should be fixed within the next 24 hours though.

In the meantime, you can get directly to the site at:
http://www.eonsreach.com/gasp/

Thanks for the heads up though!

Oh, my pleasure. Thanks for pointing out a work-around.

Perhaps I'll find some time in the next weeks and months.

Boardgaming is still growing at GASP. Show up anytime during one of our meetings and there WILL be people to play with. Right now, our formula de mini-season is underway and we should have 6-8 people for that at least. Races start at 6:00 PM. I also host an early game where if you win, I'll buy your pizza. The idea is to get more people to show up earlier. This week the game is serinissima. Some of our members have also just come back from origins. We have Tempus(2 copies!), thurn and taxis, conquest of pangea, the new scepter of zavandor and others.

Next meeting is this saturday, July 8th 2006.

You will have one less racer for Formula De and games in general, Curt.

I took a new job, and Gasp is not looking like it will fit in well at all before the Fall, and perhaps not ever.

I can be found if you have any questions/comments.

You're going to let something as trivial as WORK keep you from gaming? Don't do that to yourself... you KNOW you would rather be gaming...

But work gives me money, and money gets me games, and if I have games, I can play more than one Saturday a month that I don't even get to choose which Saturday.

Unless your counteroffer involves a similar wage, and the doting attention of busty and attractive women, I feel you're in a tough spot to change my mind.

March was the big ice storm. Most of us that went probably shouldn't have. Of course, we are addicted and the promise of 12 hours of boardgames is worth the risk of death for us.
