I wanted to go with a Tag/Bag and fast advance option with NBN using NBN-TWIY*. When comparing the Identities it seems like the loss of the Trace Boost and Influence aren't worth the extra card in the hand, but what it obviously did well was allow us to use as few high cost agendas as possible.

A few more notes:

Tagging has been so useful. Runner economy is rampant and if i get the turn to take advantage of a tag and trash Kati Jones/Armitage sometimes its even more important than scoring an agenda just to give myself some breathing room.

Eli is so damn annoying. I'm not a fan of chains of ice for a "combo". I feel like its just too unpredictable to bank a strat on it, but on the occasions where I can stack an Eli and Data Raven together i have notice its a fair deterrent due to the actions lost.

I'm not a fan of Mid-season Replacements/Psychographics anymore. Once it dropped I played game, after game, after game and the advantage just wasn't there. Once they had 5+ tags, they stopped trying to remove them. It hurt their economy (and mine) because they couldn't play resources, but i found myself either using the combo to score things for 2 with SanSans (which didn't matter anyway because i would score it with only 2) or WAITING until i got lucky enough to have Beale, psycho, Midseason, AND for them to score an agenda. It just wasn't as fast as i wanted.

Any suggestions for tweaks would really be appreciated.

i have found the new identity more useful for its 40 card minimum than the 6 card in hand. Poeple have toyed with light ICE decks and used 6 cards in hand to buffer agendas in hand from HQ attacks, but I have found that unreliable. All you need is a Gabe and an undefended HQ and he will wreck you before you can say Fast Advance.

Midseasons..yea....if you happen to have a beale it might be awesome, but its quite the amount of cash to get it done in any case. As a runner, having been midseasoned a few times, i have just kept the 6-7 tags and played around it. light on resources, you can then turn all the tagging traces and ICE into stuff you dont care about and be quite aggressive,

I like Eli 1.0. But at times, I find an Ice Wall just as effective and doesnt have the possibility of runner clicking through it. I guess it just depends on rest of your deck and on your style and what your trying to protect.

other question these days is Flare vs tollbooth. I like flare as one of few ways of destroying hardware, and theres some nice hardware out there now to destroy, but it costs extra 1 and it depends on successful trace, albeit a strong one.

just my 2 cents would love others opinions.

New NBN identity. Works to give runner as many tags as possible for 2 purposes; to kill resources and credits then psychografics fast advance beale. The only change I plan to make is to trade out Midseason replacements with Big Brother.

Has Chimera been working for you? I stopped using it a couple months ago because everyone was running Crypsis, but I feel like I've been seeing it less often.

I see a lot of decks that use crypsis, so not always. But its really not that bad. Worst case scenario i use it in front of a tollbooth so they can't Inside Job it.

I do think it's worth it though. granted, this is from my meta. Enough people use other breakers without a main focus on crypsis to make it decent.

Psychographics midseasons plus rezzing 3 flares and 3 tollbooths. Yeah, right.

You have literally no way to end a run for less than eight credits. Please test your deck against a generic Gabe deck before saying it is really good.

Also Matrix Analyzer won't let you score an Agenda on the Runner's turn no matter how many tokens you put on it.

With any luck I can run it no-advance, and pile all of the ice onto HQ, R&D, and one "money" server.
With only 40 cards, and 5 draw cards it moves through the deck pretty fast.

No hedgefunds but you pay influence for greenlevel access? How can I take you seriously when you make ridiculous decisions like that?

Because it's about speeding the deck (and play) up, not maximizing income.

If I wanted to maximize income, it would be smarter to play with Making News.

But then that would be a whole different deck now wouldn't it? whistle
