Alright, I spend hours and hours going through the geek and Thoughthammer etc. looking up and reading everything about games, and still when it comes down to it I can't decide what to buy. It took me hours to pick my last order. So what are some good games I have never heard of, that I can still buy? Games outside the top 100 that don't get a lot of mention. Multiplayer is what I am looking for right now, but 2 players are fine to suggest too. I am looking for stuff my very large group may not have, so newer stuff would be good as well.

I'm going nuts trying to think of an answer.

Help us out - how many of you in the multiplayer? how long do you want to spend playing a game? do you want something high in excitement level or something more cerebral? conflict, bidding, building, trading? give us a hint or we'll all go nuts! Please help.

All of these are excellent multiplayer games that are a notch down in the radar.

There are a lot of good GeekLists containing underrated or overlooked games. Might I recommend some of the following:

I should have specified the group is around 20 or so. Though not all show up at once. Playing time is not a big deal, nor is theme. I was just looking for some games that are good and overlooked and in print.

I think Hoity Toity is excellent - plays quickly and is best with 5. Clever and simple mechanics and very high levels of interaction.

TV Wars is a wonderful game for 4 players - for people aged 45 and upwards it is also very clever as you will be aware of background to the joke names used. The ratings war are particularly intersting and are quite tactical.

Wizard's Quest is one of the few fantasy games I play on a regular basis. Is good for 4-6 players and is enjoyed by non-gamers as the rules are simple and the theme works really well.

For Condottiere, see my review.

Black Spy is a nice rummy variant which you may be able to pick up on ebay.

Tyranno Ex is a good 4 player game which lasts around 2 hours. Is well received by non-gamers as the theme works well with the mechanics. Good tactical game revolving around changes to the earth's atmosphere and which creatures will thrive/perish in the atmosphere.

Rail Baron is a fine economic game where you are trying to build networks across the USA. A strategic game as you try to balance various factors to come up with a victory.

Bon chance!

Aladdin's Dragons would be a good one for you. I think you'd probably like Samurai best actually, though that's probably in the top 100.
