Hey guys, im looking for a Game which is as cool as CITOW

First of all, ive done a some research and found a similar Thread like this one, but that thread is 3 years old and i didnt really like the recommended games (starcraft, dune, runewars).

Do you guys know any games which could match some of those points:

-different winning conditions
-different fractions with unique style
-area control/influence
-player interaction/conflict
-some sort of random conditions (random board setup, global effects like the old world cards, etc)
-playable with 2 and more players
-moderate playtime: 30 minutes up to 2 hours or so
-not abstract strategy but more themed
-good "replayability"

thanks!

Easy, check out Cthulhu Wars. It has everything you are looking for and more. Plus there is still time to get in on the kickstarter

Kemet

Kemet is a similar game in that you get conflict. Lots of conflict. Also lots of theme. As for the different player powers, the game is the same for all players on setup, but each player chooses how to allocate a specific number of faction points to start the game. This gives each player the chance to differentiate their play style each game. There are tons of different options for strategy paths.

Highly recommended.

Hard to find something that hits all the points you're mentioning but you might want to look into those games.
They fit at least some of your criteria.

1812: The Invasion of Canada
Glenn Drover's Empires: The Age of Discovery
Andean Abyss
Antike
The Ares Project
Cyclades
Dominant Species
El Grande
Small World
Terra Mystica

+2 El Grande
+1 Terra Mystica
+1 Kemet

But I'd like to add

Rex: Final Days of an Empire

PRO
- it has a huge dose of theme,
- it has very assymetrical player powers
- some of these races have a different extra win condition
- it's area control
- it has random events (influence drops, bombardments + the movement of the fleet)
- it has an interesting battle mechanic and there is card play (in and out of battles).
- There is a huge amount of player interaction.
- Lots and lots of replayability

NEUTRAL
- Can take up to and over 3 hours (could also take as little as 30 minutes), but normally it plays in 2 hours.

CONTRA (big)
- only for 6 (best) or 5 players.

El Grande isn't really anything like citow. It is however, a very good game.

I think Kemet and Cyclades are good shouts for a similar style of game. They both look great too.

Cthulu Wars I think is just too expensive at the moment and I know I personally don't want such huge figures despite being a huge fan of the Mythos.

Wait, WHAT?

What could be a posible reason for not wanting big beautiful figures?

Terra Mystica fulfills your criteria very well. Somewhat thematic, different player races with different abilities, (win conditions are VP based though)...

El Grande is brilliant, but more abstract, win conditions are universal, no difference in player powers/factions etc.

Having a very small flat with extremely limited storage space. Being able to transport said big beautiful figures carefully and easily. The cost of said big beautiful figures. The cost of coming up with a good transport solution for the figures so they are not damaged. To name but a few reasons.
