This weekend we had our first big tournament in Norway - that I know of, at least!

Compared to american or even swedish tournaments, it wasn't too big, merely 12 players. But it was big enough for us, and we all had a blast playing. During the finals we even had three pickup games running! How's that for dedication - after playing 8 tournament games of netrunner, half the contestants were still hungry for more.

Special thanks to Alexander (pastorn here on BGG) for making the trip from Sweden! A tournament is always better when we have guests from far-off lands

We decided to play four rounds of swiss and then have a final match between the top two players. After the swiss I was ranked second, but as Arcon doesn't give prizes to tournament coordinators I passed my spot to Marius (Eremiel on BGG). I still got a set of sweet plastic IDs, since FFG has no such rule! (Prizes for 2nd and 3rd were announced as identical at the start). Another Alexander was ranked 1st after just beating Marius in the final swiss round, but in the finals Marius turned it around, won both games and took the crown.

Both these decks were netdecked, the Corp deck is flaminghito's NBN Blitz deck, while the Chaos Theory deck is only slightly modified from szymkodf's deck posted on Stimhack from the Philadelphia regionals.

Glad to hear my deck helped you get third!

I hope that was a transcription error taking it from meteor to cardgamedb and you didn't actually run PSF over War. Corporate War really helps this deck.

Also, the current draft has -1 chimera, +1 SanSan. That's a pretty minor thing though.

Yeah, I originally changed War to PSF, because PSF is the shit, but just before the tournament I had a look at how many ways there is to tag a runner in the deck and switched back

The Chimera/SanSan change is simply because I haven't got 3 SanSans! And I was worried about the low amount of ice. In the end there was enough ice, but the high agenda density cost me a match - the deck never lost, but in one match I won 10-6 because I simply couldn't keep the runner out of anything and only had War in hand (and not enough money to score it with Astrotoken/SanSan. The runner (Marius) had the Datasucker of Doom with ALL the tokens, but he didn't need it to break anything. I did manage to draw past his R&D lock and find a Beale or Astro to score out of hand for the win - two of them, in fact, but I had to give him three chances to pull them out of my hand first - he found one, but not the other. Go go +1 hand size!

In the next game I Sneakdoored into 5 points before losing the game, meaning he took the match with 16 vs 15 match points

One of the more notable things about this regionals was, imo, the faction breakdowns. We seemed to have very few people running the standard HB Rush/Gabriel.

Great fun, great tournament, great TO!

About my deck, I've been pondering a switchover from Tollbooth to Flare in order to deal with plascrete if need be plus a swap from posted bounty to False Lead.
Anyone got any feedback on that? The main drawbacks for me would seem to be a slight reshuffling of my influence base (cutting three total of tollbooth/SEA/Bernice for two Flare) plus that cutting out tollbooth for flare would make me quite sentry-heavy. Still.. it's tempting. I'm not all-in tag/bag with my weyland, but it's still nice to force the runner to play with the threat of SE looming.

I really love your CT deck. May be the most fun I've had with Netrunner since the early days when everything was shiny and new.

Glad you enjoyed it all the way across the pond! Nothing better than a TR/femme, tinkering, inside job access, haha. TR femme indexing is pretty legit too.
Watching Ulrik play your deck has certainly changed my view on indexing completely.
