I finally bought a second-hand copy of this game, it will get home in a few days. But it took me quite a while and it was not cheap, so I was considering sleeving the cards before playing it this summer.

Someone with the game at hand can tell me the card size, and how many cards? Thanks!

Re: Card size?
Thanks!

I have been looking quickly and I couldn't find that sleeve size, has anyone sleeved his cards already? Any advice?

Re: Card size?
I think I'll laminate them...

But before I'll scan them, who knows!

PS: BTW, are the 81 cards unique, or are some of them repeated?

Re: Card size?
I remember that there are repeats, but won't be able to check for a while to give any additional info.

Don't worry, I was curious in case someone knew, but I should be able to check with my own copy this evening!

I would copy them and laminate the copies to play with those.

Me too, but I'm too lazy now...

I'll take the risk, and if it doesn't go well I'll print copies...

How did you trim the cards so that they were all identical in size?

These are the original cards, I just laminate them and then cut on top of a "healing mat":

It has a mm grid, so it is relatively easy (for me) to align the card in the laminated sheet along one line, place the metal ruler 1 or 2mm away from the card, and cut with the Xacto knife. The corners I cut with scissors.

Ahh, that is smart. I usually trim stuff I have laminated on a paper cutter or a photo trimmer, which doesn't have marks small enough to do what you did.

Assuming I don't want to laminate my cards, has anyone discovered a size of card sleeve that will work well?

Swan Card Sleeves(52x74mm)-100 Pack (Thick)- Through the Ages- New
fit very tight. It bends the cards ever so slightly.

After pressing them between two heavy books they have packed out well.
