(CharlesP, JohnH, DaveO, KevinO) : it looked pretty cool, how was it?

KevinO: "I'm sure ChrisF is going to dislike this game for the same reasons that he dislikes San Francisco. The main mechanism is hidden bidding. Not only is the location hidden and then simultaneously revealed, but the amount of influence remains hidden until all three locations are placed. Ordering changes with each round, so additional influence tokens can be gained or lost before the next location's winner is determined.

I enjoy the mind game it creates of where to place and how much influence to place for each location in a turn. Winning conditions are to place six "houses" in the six locations or alternately to seven in five or eight in four. As more houses are placed, the cost of placing the next house rises, making it more difficult to gain the next house. Getting two or three houses at the lowest cost will make getting the rest easier, but don't count on it..."
