You are important! You are appreciated! You are loved!
--------------------------
I have been playing games for as long as I can remember. Boardgames came first, Video/Computer-games since I was four (1980 - I´m indeed a kid of the pac-man generation), roleplaying games since I was six, PBMs since I was twelve and LARPs since I was sixteen. My father introduced me to most of them but the rest of the family are also active gamers.
Now I am 45 and the mother of a teenage boy (Rickardssonjunior) and I try to include him in my own interest as much as I can. He prefers computer games though so I´m in luck when I get him to play with me. Currently I play rpgs weekly with online friends but most of my other games are played solo. The worst part of playing on your own is learning the rules so even though I tend to love complex games it takes a long time before they actually hit the table...
I have had periods of overusing Kickstarter and back a few game projects each year - every now and then combined with game-related stuff and a book or two. Mostly I just do supportpledges for a dollar or two to be able to follow the projects but every once in a while I pledge for a full game.
When not gaming or in front of the computer I am usually seen in the company of a big cup of tea or three and a book (I read a lot). I spend a lot of hours walking (marching), over-use salt in my food (11 different sorts in my shelf at the moment) and have a fascination of all things military. I am also a geek when it comes to other subjects; I have a thing for supernatural creatures, superheroes and things fantasy or scifi. I tend to appreciate the small things in life since I value the thought more than anything. Me crying over the smallest of gestures is to be expected. And to top that already wide spread I dress in lolita fashion one day, medieval dresses another, geeky t-shirt and baggy pants the forth and military uniform the next. There are so many beautiful things out there so I don't like limiting myself. The only limit is pink - I don´t do pink!

If you want to gift me something: Since I do participate in exchanges and other gifting-activities on the Geekdo I decided to do a quick guide with things good to know.
Thought is more important than value and a candy/snacks/sweet-package from your country for me and my son to try out is always considered a great gift. I have wishlists listed for RPGGeek, VideoGameGeek and BoardgameGeek. A physical copy (or a printout of the pdf) is always preferred over a digital copy (exception would be videogames of course ;-).
Something I can play solo. 90% of all my gaming (Boardgame, RPG, Computer, Xbox, Phone or whatever)
For my son or to play with my son Wishlist = Things I really want - great gifts Want to play = Things I wouldn´t buy for myself but would like to play - also great gifts Want in Trade - PnPs I want - also good gifts Want to Buy - games I really want to buy or might be in the process of buying - great gifts but ask so I am not buying it at the moment and get two... Want Parts - also good gifts For PIFF - Anything rated good or great is a go. No need to ask and given I like the surprise-part of gifts you don´t even have to tell me what I am getting.
Top 10-list - unsorted list of my favorite games. Do you have an off-list-game that you think I´d love based on these it is also considered a good gift.
List of good Swedish shops For more detailed info see: The wishlists and letters... If you are my Secret One I can also recommend: Item for GeekList "2021 Secret One Wishlist"

Geek-heroes There are a lot of generous souls on all the gamerelated Geek-domains. I tried to keep a list of people I noticed who did great things but it quickly got out of hand since there are so many here contributing with cheer, geekgold, suggestions, help, gifts, charity-auctions and so on and so forth. Thank you all for making this such a lovely place to visit, for spreading the cheer and encouraging others to do the same. Thank you all for being the wonderful geeks you are!

In this house we do believe in magic We know, with great powers comes great responsibility We have epic adventures we jump into the rabbit hole and into the wardrobe to infinity and beyond all we need is faith and trust and a little bit of pixie dust once upon a time in a galaxy far far away
We have fun storming the castle and we know the cake is a lie Nothing is true everything is permitted If it is worth doing, it is worth overdoing, right?
We are going boldly where no man has gone before because where there is tea there is hope Don´t blink War never changes
We know the answer to everything is 42 and that the odds are in our favor We know to speak friend, and enter We know that winter is coming We aim to misbehave and we don't care what the muggles think We believe in happy endings There is no place like home because in this house we do Geek
