Aliens (1987)

User Summary

An action game that closely follows the events of the 1986 movie. The player controls a group of Colonial Marines sent to investigate the colony on LV-426. As the game progresses, the goal changes to survival. Success is measured by the number of marines left at the end of the game.

The game consists of 6 completely different stages (almost mini-games).
Stage 1: Land the dropship- a flight sim style sequence
Stage 2: Return to the APC - a side scroller/maze shoot'em up
Stage 3: Operations Room Defense - an up/down action sequence like Tapper, where you keep the Aliens away from your marines
Stage 4: Airduct Escape - a maze sequence
Stage 5: Rescue Newt - action similar to stage 2
Stage 6: Alien Queen - a 1st person view, boxing style fight
