Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 is a handful of mini games within the theme of spending 14 days on a southern seas island together with 9 girls from the Dead or Alive series. The framework of the entire game is about ogling girls in swimsuits.

The mini games are bundled together in a dating sim-style meta-game, where each mini game earns money, "vacation satisfaction" and friendship points for the girl in question. Completing certain missions also gives the player experience points, and player money. Money can be used to buy new swimsuits or other items. The higher the stats, the better.
