[User Description]
Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games was created as a release alongside the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games and is a successor to "Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games". The title retains the same type of sports gameplay although with new winter-related sports. The Wii version also adds support for the Wii Balance Board on some sports.
The game lets players take control of Mario, Sonic, and various other characters from both franchises and pits them against one another in various winter sports. The sports included are Alpine Skiing (Downhill and Giant Slalom), Ski Jumping (Individual and Team), Freestyle Skiing (Moguls and Ski Cross), Snowboard (Halfpipe and Snowboard Cross), Speed Skating (500m, 1000m, and Relay), Figure Skating, Skeleton, Bobsleigh, Ice Hockey, and Curling.
