Terra Nova: Strike Force Centauri

User Summary:

Terra Nova: Strike Force Centauri is a science-fiction combat simulation. An elite Strike Force Centauri team using hi-tech combat suits must fight the pirate threat to the Centauri colonies, and later fight an invading force of the Terran Hegemony, a totalitarian regime plotting to take control of the colonies.

The game is a mission-based, tactical outdoors first person shooter. Each mission begins with a video briefing, then players proceed to the equipment screen where they choose their combat suit (scout, combat, heavy suit), weapon and gear loadout and their squadmates. On the field, players have direct control of Nikola ap Io, a young SFC officer and can give orders to the other members of the team (1 to 3 depending on the mission). The gameplay rewards tactical thinking and smart equipment choices.

The missions are linked together by full-motion video sequences which advance the plot and develop some of the characters' stories. Players can also use terminals between missions to learn more about the Centauri colonies, read the main character's emails and browse local news.

The game also includes a random mission generator to generate quick battles.
