This franchise and the above banner is a mandatory addition to any game that has been cancelled by the publisher or developer. Cancelled items may be submitted for inclusion to the database, but must meet the following:

• Images for cancelled items are allowed, provided you own a copy or have legal access to it.
• Associate with the Franchise "(Unreleased Games - Cancelled)" (where these instructions can also be found)
• Add the following banner on the top of the item description:

Why Allow Images For Cancelled Games?

1) Playable demos or press kits are often created and given out prior to a game's cancellation.

2) Sometimes a cancelled game will be made available online to the public in its incomplete or semi-final state.

3) Many indie games (independent video games) are made available for purchase in a beta, alpha, or work-in-progress state and then get cancelled or permanently abandoned.
