Note: Virtual TableTop Games (VTT) that adapt board games tend to replicate the same classic games. Unique IPs are preferred.
A web browser game is played via the World Wide Web using a web browser - an application that accesses and displays a web page from a particular website. Some browser games are also available in other forms: as a mobile app, a PC game, or on a console. The advantage of the browser version is not having to install the game; the browser automatically accesses the necessary content from the game's website. However, the browser version may have fewer features or inferior graphics compared to the others, which are usually native apps. The front end of a browser game is what runs in the user's browser. It is implemented with the standard web technologies of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WebAssembly. In addition, WebGL enables more sophisticated graphics. On the back end, numerous server technologies can be used.
This platform IS for games played in a "Web Browser":
- The entire game is played on a 'single page' of a website.
- They do not need to be installed on a device.
- They are typically built with JavaScript, Adobe Flash, or similar.
- Most (all?) browser games could be ported or adapted to other platforms and devices.

This page is NOT for "Website" games:
- The entire game is played through a website; the website "is" the game. A single page is only "part" of the "game".
- They require an account on the website to play.
- They cannot be ported or adapted to other platforms and devices because the game is literally a website.
